Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of SSHOW and the rights and responsibilities between us.
01
Purpose
These Terms govern access to and use of the SSHOW service operated by SSHOW (the “Company”). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
02
Definitions
- “Service” means the SSHOW website, desktop and mobile apps, and related features.
- “User” means anyone who accesses or uses the Service.
- “Content” means anything a user uploads, creates, or publishes via the Service.
- “Team / Space / Project” are collaboration units described in our help docs.
03
Effect & changes
These Terms take effect when posted in the Service. The Company may revise them in compliance with applicable law and will publish changes at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for material or adverse changes). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
04
Forming the agreement
The agreement is formed when you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy and complete signup, and the Company accepts your application. We may decline or terminate signups that:
- contain false information,
- are made by a child without proper parental consent,
- belong to a previously terminated user, or
- are made for unlawful or abusive purposes.
05
Account responsibility
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and must notify us if they are compromised. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
06
Service availability
We aim to keep the Service running smoothly but may suspend it (in whole or part) for maintenance, equipment failure, force majeure, or compliance with law. We will give advance notice when reasonably possible.
07
Your obligations
- Comply with these Terms and applicable law.
- Respect other people’s privacy, rights, and reputation.
- Do not upload or transmit content that infringes intellectual-property rights.
- Do not interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
08
Content & intellectual property
You retain all rights in the Content you upload or create. You grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, cache, display, back up, and transcode that Content solely as needed to provide the Service. The licence ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for residual copies in routine backups, which are deleted on standard rotation.
Content you mark as public may be displayed in public areas of the Service (e.g. the Stage) so other users can view or play it.
Your project data is kept private by default and is not disclosed to third parties unless you mark it public or otherwise consent. The Company may use data to improve service quality (error diagnosis, reliability, feature-usage analysis), but does so on a pseudonymised or anonymised basis where practicable and never uses your Content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy and AI Usage Notice for details.
If you believe content on SSHOW infringes your rights, report it to [email protected]. We follow a notice-and-takedown procedure under Korean Copyright Act §103 (and applicable foreign equivalents).
09
Paid services & refunds
After beta we may offer paid features. Payments and refunds follow the Korean E-Commerce Act and the Content Industry Promotion Act.
- You may withdraw a purchase within 7 days, except where law restricts the right (e.g. consumed digital content).
- Subscriptions can be cancelled before the next renewal date; refunds for already-paid periods are limited to what the law requires.
10
Beta service
The Service is currently in closed beta. During beta:
- Signup is restricted to invite-code holders.
- Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice.
- While we make reasonable efforts to protect your data, we limit our liability for loss occurring during beta to the maximum extent permitted by law. Please keep your own backups of important work.
11
Prohibited conduct
- Impersonating others or stealing identities.
- Posting or transmitting malicious code.
- Excessive automated requests outside the official API.
- Uploading content prohibited by law (e.g. CSAM, incitement to violence, hate speech, pirated material).
- Bypassing or attacking the Service’s security.
12
Suspension & termination
You may terminate the agreement at any time by deleting your account or content. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or applicable law, after notice; we may act first and notify after in urgent cases (e.g. security threats).
13
Limitation of liability
The Company is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, network outages, or factors outside our reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event. Nothing here limits liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.
14
Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service shall be resolved by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act, with consumer-jurisdiction rules taking precedence where you are a consumer.
15
Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
